Update Your Glass Shopfront For Summer To Attract Customers
The most important thing about your frameless shopfront is that it is made from strong glass, which not only shows off your window display brilliantly but also makes the store secure.
However, the second most important thing to consider about your shop window is what you display in it, and this season it is all about showcasing your summer products if you want to attract customers and boost business.
Shopfronts need to look enticing, so consumers are compelled to go inside to get whatever you have put on display.
So, even if the spring weather continues to be disappointing, now is the time to make everyone feel as though a heatwave is just around the corner by putting out your best summer goods.
According to the latest Office for National Statistics Retail Sales Index figures, sales across the UK increased by 3.4 per cent in value and 0.4 per cent in volume recently.
However, one way to increase these figures even more is to get everyone in the summery mood.
“With brighter weather on the way, retailers are starting to plan their summer collections, and are hopeful that consumers will be looking to refresh their homes and wardrobes,” said Kris Hamer, director of Insight at the British Retail Consortium (BRC).
With this in mind, retailers should not hold back putting all their brightly coloured, tropical-themed, beach-inspired products where passersby can see them. Spotting them in the window could lift people’s spirits, making them more likely to enter the store and make a purchase.
This is particularly important as recent figures from the BRC reported that high street footfall dropped by 1.5 per cent in March compared with the year before, while retail parks footfall declined by 3.5 per cent year-on-year.
